Jeffrey Machado, the guy behind Encouraging Word VO, started his professional voice acting career in 1993 and has been going strong ever since. He has a spirit younger than his body, with the range to portray a variety of characters: the witty dad, the fun neighbor, the nerdy sidekick.

Don’t let his unfettered childlike disposition fool you, though — Jeffrey is professional, precise, and intuitive to the point of delivering the best reads with little to no direction; but he is always open to feedback and will keep working until the project reaches perfection. He came into voiceover through a path of radio production at a local station, copywriting at an advertising agency, and stage acting with a community theater, so he has knowledge of the entire VO process from writing to producing to performing.

Jeffrey lives in Roseville, California and works from his broadcast-quality home studio. He comes experienced with a client list including Crunch Fitness, Chick-fil-A, Verizon, The Home Depot, Deloitte and more. The charm to Jeffrey doesn’t end at his work life — he’s shaken hands with Sting, bungee-jumped off a 100-foot bridge, invited two women to the same concert as a date, and ended up saying “I do” to one of them a year later.
